Roles and responsibilities:

Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications using PHP and the CodeIgniter Framework.
Design, develop, and integrate RESTful APIs to support internal and client-facing applications.
Write clean, efficient, and reusable code while adhering to coding standards and best practices.
Optimize application performance, troubleshoot issues, and resolve bugs to ensure seamless functionality.
Design, manage, and optimize MySQL databases to improve application performance and scalability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver effective technical solutions.
Integrate third-party APIs and implement new features to enhance system capabilities.
Ensure application security, code quality, and version control using Git.
Maintain and support existing applications while implementing enhancements and performance improvements.
Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to development processes and system architecture.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
2 years to 4 years of experience in PHP web application development.
Strong proficiency in PHP, CodeIgniter (CI3 preferred), MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and Bootstrap.
Experience in developing and maintaining RESTful APIs and database-driven web applications.
Familiarity with Git, Linux server environments, database design, and query optimization.
Experience with CMS platforms, report management systems, API integrations, or data-driven applications is an added advantage.
